Getting started

Grailward backs up your single-player Diablo II: Resurrected saves automatically and turns them into a browsable armory — characters, shared stash, runewords, cube recipes and Holy Grail progress. It never touches the game: it only reads save files at rest.

Create your account

Sign up with email and password (8 characters minimum). To keep accounts genuine, we confirm your email first: we send a confirmation link to the address you signed up with. Click it and your account is activated and you're signed in — no separate login step. Didn't get the email? Check your spam folder, or use the resend button on the confirmation screen. The link expires after 24 hours, and you can request a new one anytime. Until you confirm, sign-in stays locked.

Once confirmed you land on the Dashboard, the overview of your account: characters and their last backups, runeword readiness, stash summary and grail progress.

Get your saves flowing

The platform fills itself from backups. To start sending them:

  1. Open Devices (user menu, top right) and create a device for your machine. Copy the token — it is shown only once.
  2. Run the local agent with that token. See the Automatic backups guide for the details.

From the first upload on, every save change becomes a new immutable snapshot. Nothing is ever overwritten or lost.
